Expanding Our Horizons: Moving Mental Health and Wellness into the Mainstream

Presented by The Clifford Beers Foundation, in conjunction with The Mental Health Commission of Canada, the theme of this conference will focus on the necessity of improving mental health through the collective action of society.
This Conference will the drive the agenda forward and provide the setting to:
- promote further discussion on the challenges of mainstreaming mental health promotion;
- seek political and other support for popuation-based mental health promotion initiatives;
- contrast perspectives and experiences in mainstreaming key policy areas/programmes;
- exchange innovative ideas and practices and look at not only has been effective but also how such
- ideas may be used to inform future progress;
- create new concepts, methods of evaluation and indicators to raise awareness of models of best practice.
