Register now for this unique opportunity to engage in productive dialogues about eldercare and the ever-increasing number of caregivers in the workplace. Participants from across Canada will share their experiences, initiatives and strategies, offering perspectives from employers, labour, government, service providers and researchers.

The Catalytic Presentation at this event will be delivered by Ellen Galinsky, president and co-founder of Families and Work Institute. Ellen co-directs The National Study of the Changing Workforce, The National Study of Employers and When Work Works projects at Families and Work Institute, in addition to directing the Alfred P. Sloan Academy Awards for Faculty Career Flexibility and Mind in the Making. Ms. Galinsky is also the program director of The Conference Board Work Life Conference and staffs The Conference Board’s Work Life Leadership Council. She will be leading off Forum 2008 with a discussion of the findings of the 2008 National Employers Study as they pertain to eldercare.
Scheduled to participate in interactive panel discussions throughout the day are:
- Dr. Rubin Becker, MD, FRCP, noted Canadian gerontologist, speaker, and medical professional.
- Karen Henderson, Eldercare Educator and Consultant, the Founder and CEO of the Long Term Care Planning Network, and author of Long Term Care: A Practical Planning Guide for Canadians.
